BIRG: My twinnie is graduating summa and was chosen to deliver the UP Centennial Graduation Speech!
According to DICTIONARY.COM (haha ;)), to BIRG means to
Bask in Reflected Glory

All kidding aside, allow me now to Bask In The Reflected Glory of my twinnie, Gabriela M. Francisco! :) (*insert incoherent, fangirl shriek here*)
Not only is she graduating SUMMA CUM LAUDE (belonging to that super rare breed of UP iskos who manage such an academic feat in such a demanding and challenging environment---where all one's classmates are the best of the best), but she was also chosen, out of all the summas, to be the one to deliver the Graduation Speech on the UP University Commencement Exercises (which will be televised, since it's the UP Centennial Batch who'll be graduating!!) this April 27, 2008!!!? In front of the ENTIRE university....in front of the whole WORLD...on the UP Centennial, no less...
